"Sight Savers International is this interesting organisation that does two things. Firstly, it helps to find ways to transform trauma: witness Raymond, the blind self-sustaining tea farmer or the women's collective dairy farm run mostly by the blind and/or physically impaired. Secondly, it helps prevent and treat the conditions and traumas that cause blindness, ensuring people seek proper care before it's too late. Training health workers in simple surgical skills and maybe most importantly, reducing the stigma associated with blindness.
